The Shepherds....

Look Out For!!

God knows what is going on in your life. He is always on the lookout for the good and bad.
When you are doing His work, Father is going to take care of you. One thing that upsets Him very much is shepherds who do not properly feed the sheep. Unfortunately, the sheep are starving to death for the truth of God's Word in many cases. Let us look in Jeremiah.

Jer:23:1: Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.

A pastor is supposed to prepare the pasture for the sheep. The pasture, of course, is God's Word. The sheep must eat well enough to sustain them all the way to the end, so that they won't be deceived by antichrist.

Jer:23:2: Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD.

The evil shepherds are not looking out for the sheep. God will hold them responsible, but He also looks out for the starving sheep. That is why we have the King James Version Bible. You have the opportunity to study the truth for yourself through the letter He wrote to you.

Jer:23:3: And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.

If a shepherd will teach God's truth, the ministry will have to work hard to keep up with the growth. That ministry will be fruitful and increase. That ministry will truly be blessed.

Jer:23:4: And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD.

When the sheep are fed God's Word, there is no need for them to fear, or be dismayed, or be lacking. They know we have the victory, and they won't be deceived.

Jer:23:5: Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.

The righteous Branch is Jesus Christ. He paid the price on the cross so yur sins could be forgiven, because God is looking out for you. At the second advent, He will reign as King and execute judgement and justice.

Jer:23:6: In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Righteousness means right. The Lord always does what is right concerning you. We all get exactly what we deserve.

Jer:23:7: Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; 8: But, The LORD liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.

This looks forward to the millennium. Why can we count on this? Because God looks out for you. It is His promise. Let's look at the book of Zechariah.

Zec:11:12: And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.

This is prophecy of the betrayal of Jesus by Judus for thirty pieces of silver. It was written long before it came to pass. Thirty pieces of silver was the price of a slave.

Zec:11:13: And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD.

Do you know what the thirty pieces of silver bought for you? It bought potters feild, so that when your earthern vessel, that is your body, is broken into a thousand pieces, Christ can mend you. He paid the price.. We get the healing.

Zec:11:14: Then I cut asunder mine other staff, even Bands, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel. 15: And the LORD said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd.

Here again, we have the warning. The foolish shepherd of the end times is antichrist. He will be pretending to be the Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ. Stick with Jesus and you will never go hungry. He is the Living Word.

Zec:11:16: For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces.

The antichrist will not look out for the weak and starving. His only interest is deceiving the sheep to their own destruction. He wants company in the lake of fire.

Zec:11:17: Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.
