Anxiety

Do you waste your time worrying? There is no need for that..!

We claim to be Christians.. And with that knowledge, we know full well that God will take care of all our needs.. Still, when things get a little rough, the first thing we do is start worrying..
How foolish of us.. Where is our faith?
God has proven over and over that He is there for us and will never leave us..
He will take care of us..

Lu:12:22: And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.
Lu:12:23: The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.
Lu:12:24: Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?
Lu:12:25: And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?

Here we are being shown how foolish it is for us to worry.. How do you suppose it must make God feel to know that we are uncertain about His love.. How would you feel if your children did not trust you?

Lu:12:26: If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?
Lu:12:27: Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Lu:12:28: If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?

Here God is showing a little of His irritation.. If there is one thing we should strive to do, it is to not make our Father angry..!!

Lu:12:29: And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
Lu:12:30: For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.

Our Father is aware of each and every need that we have.. He will not forsake us.. We will always be taken care of..

As long as we have God on our side, we have nothing to fear.. God will always be there if we just ask, and try our best to keep His commandments..

The next time you find yourself starting to worry.. Don't waste time.. Spend some quality time with God instead.. The troubles will all be gone..

2Tm:1:7: For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
