New design is faulty and leaks constantly
First, I saw that one reviewer has a problem with leaking filters when used in an older Frigidaire. I've had no such problem with the original filter and two replacements that I've installed. (And yuck! to see what those filters have removed from the city water!) So, maybe higher than normal...
I have a 10 year old side by side GE refrigerator with a water dispenser that is leaking at the filter. The leak is inside the housing that holds the filter in place. I removed the filter and examined the gaskets and they look fine.
Faulty filter?
I'd try replacing the filter.

I know the filter is the same model. The connections were all the same, it fits in place properly, but it leaks when we try to use the water dispenser. The ice machine is unaffected. It's just a small leak for now, but still enough to fix before...
When we first got our new fridge (Whirlpool Gold, cousin of Kenmore) it had specific instructions to spend about 2 minutes filling a glass with water from the dispenser, dump it, fill it, for at least 2 minutes. Supposedly this equalizes the pressure in the dispenser. It was

Water is leaking at the dispenser when pressed due to water tube AP2115580 being short and barely fitting in the plastic nipple that is part of the dispenser. We have pushed it back in place but now bent and pops out regularly when door is shut hard. How do I fix this. Do I need a new water line thru the entire fridge or just at the end. how do we get it to stay in place.

Another thing for anyone watching this, its not a good idea to let the dispenser face panel hang by the ribbon as they can be somewhat delicate. Gently grab it where it attaches to the control board (not the one on the face panel, the one mounted to the door) and simply pull it out. When reinstalling it be sure its lined up and gently push it back in. If you look in the slot you can see exactally where it needs to be lined up and pushed in at.
Intresting fix. Never thought of that. It would be nice if frigidaire made that water line a litle longer as it is a pain to get through the hole if you have big hands. What I usually do is disconnect the water line coupler under the door hinge and push the line up in the hinge and pull it through in to the dispenser to get the extra length to plug it in the hole. Then put a drop of wood glue on it from the inside to hold it in place then reassemble the dispenser and hook the line back up.
