Is it bad if I had to tip my mini fridge?
Okay. I bought a mini - fridge at Target today, and I had to tip it on it’s back to get it into my car. It was only in that position for about 15 minutes before I got it safely home and back upright. I have heard that tipping the fridge can cause dire consequences. Should I just go return the fridge now and save myself the hassle, or will it be okay?
admin answers:You know I heard that you shouldn’t keep a mini fridge tilted but no one ever explained why. I would assume it would have to do with refrigerant and oil seperating in the compressor. Which after a while the will settle back down in the compressor.
I was told if you had to tip a mini fridge for any lenght of time let it sit a couple of hours before turning on. I would advise doing this it shouldn’t be a problem....

I’m looking for a fridge for my dorm room?
There is no getting around it…i NEED a fridge for my dorm room. it can’t be over 3.1 cubic feet. I want it to have a small freezer as well. I’ve been looking online for one, but i need help finding one. It can be from a store (where I’m going to school will have all kinds of stores like target and what not; we have none here) If you could send me the site to some that you find, that would be great!

admin answers:It’s really not that big. When I had my first dorm my fridge was 3.9 I believe. It’s nice because you can put more food in their (water, yogurt and what have you) and your roommate may ask to share depending on if they have one or not. It’s also higher so you can use the top as another flat surface whether you store your books, nice lamp or pictures if you need.
