Revised Review
For some reason I expected these were going to be similar to a Pyrex glass and that they would be oven proof like a custard cup. I wanted to make custards, grapenut, and pumpkin puddings in them in the oven and then just cover them and put them in the fridge. I know they don't say they are heat... -
Perfect for Baby Food
I was looking for something reasonably priced that would allow me to store (in the fridge) and serve baby food. Because I do not like to microwave in plastic, something glass and with lids was ideal. I have not had the problems with the lids seeming cheap or leaky at all and the bowls nest nicely...

So I'm going to the University of Minnesota this Fall 2010 semester, and I would like to know what you all think. Should I bring a mini-refrigerator or a microwave in my dorm room? The room I'll be in is a single room only, for me. What do you...
Some colleges don't let you bring these appliances to their dorms.
They don't want you overloading their electricity (most mini fridges are terribly wasteful) or creating a possible fire hazard.

Antioch Hotel & Suites undergoes renovation
The facility will be transformed to a Best Western Plus hotel following the makeover. Work will involve upgrades to all its 68 guest rooms and suites, lobby area, 2,500 square feet indoor/outdoor heated pool and Jacuzzi tub.
All the guestrooms and suites of the remodelled hotel will be equipped with new flat screen TVs measuring 37 inches, new comfortable pillow-top bedding, an in-room coffee maker, mini-fridge, and microwave. The upgraded rooms will also feature modern furnishings in its workspace and seating sections while its restrooms will undergo an overhaul.
The lounge area of the hotel will be rebranded as the Fox's post revamp work and will feature an outdoor patio spanning 2,000 square feet. The patio will comprise an all-season fireplace fitted with fibre optic lighting fixtures as well as water features. The renovated lobby will sport a porcelain surround fireplace along with a seating space.
The refurbished indoor heated swimming pool & Jacuzzi tub will comprise expanded outdoor sundecks. The sundecks will double up as a function area. Among the other new features of the upgraded facility include a new advanced exercise room, and a new multi-purpose meeting and banquet area. The interior of the hotel will imbibe natural stone and warm shades after the improvement works. The project is slated for completion by early 2012.

Our Perfect Hotel Room | Don't Ever Look Back
We’ve spent over fifty percent of the last three months sleeping in hotel rooms and our experiences have ranged from poor to excellent. We admit that the two of us can be pretty fussy but none of the hotels we’ve stayed in thus far would be a clear 10 out of 10.
Some have come very close, but every hotel has been lacking something.
That got us thinking about what our perfect hotel would include so we decided to put together this list and share it with you. Note that these aren’t extravagant requests – most of them are basic things that every hotel should be getting right.
Checking In Friendly StaffFirst impressions really do matter! Don’t put an employee on the front desk that seems to hate their job and the world – it really shows. We want someone welcoming us who’s helpful, friendly and makes us feel special.
A Welcome GiftIt’s always nice to get a little something when checking in, whether it’s a simple welcome drink, a traditional gift (eg. Shell Lei on Big Island, Hawaii) or some chocolate chip cookies. These small treats instantly give you a positive connection with the hotel and the expense to them is minimal.
