Customer Reviews:
  1. Quite a good kitchen for price.
Bought this Melissa and Doug Kitchen along with the Plan Refrigerator. Had thought about buying all Plan for our 2 yr little girl, but cost more than we were willing to spend. Worked out great. The Cook's corner kitchen had everything she needed(minus the fridge) and was a lot less expensive....
  2. Good product, but . . .
This product is fairly easy to put together, although it does take 1-2 hours to do so. It's a cute, compact kitchen that has all the things I was looking for (wooden construction, turning knobs, colorful) at a very attractive price. The problem with the unit we received is that there are a...

Can I use electrical appliances from Japan in Singapore?

I am moving from Japan to Singapore and I would like to know if I can use some of my electrical appliances there. Specifically, high definition LCD TV (Japanese model: LCD-H32MX55), refrigerator and audio mini system.

While the voltage in Japan is standardized to 100 volts the frequency is either 50 or 60 hz. depending on the region. Singapore has 230 volts at 50 hz. Many adapters can't change frequency. Most electronic devices change ac to dc and frequency may not be a problem.

My (new) Japanese refrigerator

I was gifted a brand new fridge to replace the old mini-fridge that was also a gift.

Knowledgeable Hotel Booking Service

A hotel is an establishment that provides paid lodging, usually on a short-term basis. Hotels often provide a number of additional guest services such as a restaurant, a swimming pool or childcare. Some hotels have conference services and meeting rooms and encourage groups to hold conventions and meetings at their location. Hotels differ from motels in that most motels have drive-up, exterior entrances to the rooms, while hotels tend to have interior entrances to the rooms, which may increase guests’ safety and present a more upmarket image. Basic accommodation of a room with only a bed, a cupboard, a small table and a washstand has largely been replaced by rooms with en-suite bathrooms and climate control. Other features found may be a telephone, an alarm clock, a TV, and broadband Internet connectivity. Food and drink may be supplied by a mini-bar (which often includes a small refrigerator) containing snacks and drinks (to be paid for on departure), and tea and coffee making facilities (cups, spoons, an electric kettle and sachets containing instant coffee, tea bags, sugar, and creamer or milk)....

Asian Tube TV Online Videos Blog: 3D Kitchen by Rob Pongi

(The fridge should be visible in your drawing since kitchen ergonomics need a "Work Triangle," which is the foundation of proper kitchen layouts. The goals of a good kitchen work triangle are to place the three most common work areas---Refrigerator (cooling), Sink (cleaning) and Stove/microwave (heating)--- the most efficient distance apart and to minimize traffic through the work area.)

Thanks alot Taro and Jaclin. And I too thought about a refrigerator but this mini kitchen scene is from this Cinema 4D tutorial which doesn't include a frig for some reason or another. Perhaps it is from Japan? Who knows? Well the modeling and texture application sections of this tutorial are really not so difficult even though the tutorial is labeled as "advanced." The hard part, for me at least, was getting the correct VRAY lighting and render settings to work together. I think I got it, but looking at it now it appears as though the lighting may be wacked. I'll try another render soon after I get the current project completed. Thanks again and stay tuned!
