Customer Reviews:
  1. Great for study room
I really like iced apple juice, but the ice was melting before I ever finished my drink. I was going through apple juice like crazy, but never really drinking much of it. I bought this personal fridge to cut down on wasting apple juice (don't like it all watered down from melted ice). It works so...
  2. Works great, but time will tell if it gets a 5th star
This little "backup" fridge keeps 6 soda cans very cold. The look is pretty neat. My main quibble is with the latch mechanism. It's a little plastic thing that I'm afraid will break because it takes a little bit of guess work to figure out wither to pull or turn to open. (It turns.) It's...

Travel the world by freighter? - Travel Blog | Best Vacation Blog ...

Travel is generally restricted to passengers under the age of 80, since there is no doctor on board. Passengers should also be able to handle stairs, since elevators are likely not available. All passengers will be required to fill out a medical questionnaire to prove they're fit for this kind of travel (not particularly physically draining but requires long stretches away from full medical services). Yellow fever vaccination is typically required as are any vaccinations required by the countries you'll be visiting. Valid health and accident insurance is mandatory and any necessary foreign visas must be obtained in advance.

What are the perks?

In late 70-ties I went on a freighter trip from Poland to Brazil and back. I visited Italy on the way to Brazil. I was the only passenger. Food - perfect. Swimming pool, SUN, when applicable :), storms, HUGE waves, flying fish... 2 months without komputer, telephone, bills to pay - 70-ties, I didn't have komputer nor cell, ha ha!!! Cost? 200 USD... It was my 6 months salary, but it was worth... It was 5 times cheaper than by plane....

The Many Uses For A Mini Refrigerator | Florists in Singapore

Consumers who travel have seen at least one kind of mini refrigerator while staying in hotels. Many guest rooms come with mini bars which have been filled with spirits and perhaps a bottle of fizzy water or a lemon. Others are slightly bigger and useful in a self-contained suite.

It all depends on what you need. The first one is very small. A can of pop would be too tall and wide to stand upright. In your vacation rental suite, the fridge could be just large enough for holding cartons of milk, fruit, and full-sized wine bottles. The freezer compartment would be missing, but hotels have ice machines. These are also handy to have on hand if you live in a basement suite or live alone in a small apartment.

Some families opt to purchase slightly larger versions which are kept in the garage or basement. This acts as an overflow-fridges for storing items not associated with everyday meals so there is no freezer compartment, keeping energy costs lower than with your everyday machine. If you are expecting company during the summer, extra perishables and beverages will go here. Line-up hot dogs for unexpected visitors plus all of the condiments they like best.
