What are the perks? In late 70-ties I went on a freighter trip from Poland to Brazil and back. I visited Italy on the way to Brazil. I was the only passenger. Food - perfect. Swimming pool, SUN, when applicable :), storms, HUGE waves, flying fish... 2 months without komputer, telephone, bills to pay - 70-ties, I didn't have komputer nor cell, ha ha!!! Cost? 200 USD... It was my 6 months salary, but it was worth... It was 5 times cheaper than by plane....
