I recently bought a cheap bar fridge for use in my home, and I think it is one of the best purchases I have ever made. Ever since I placed this small cheap fridge freezer in my man cave my buddies and I have had easy access to the cold beers of our choice whenever we are watching a big game.
I briefly looked at the true bar refrigerators, but at over a thousand dollars that type of expense was simply out of the question. Instead I did what I do best – I improvised a cheap alternative.
A quick trip down to the local mall identified several cheap refrigerator freezers in the hundred dollar price range. That seemed a lot more doable on my budget! Since I didn’t have much space to put my bar refrigerator, I purchased a fairly compact fridge. I did want to be able to use an ice cube tray in the unit however, so I made sure it was a small fridge freezer, not just a plain refrigerator.
