Customer Reviews:
  1. Great Product if you let it rest.
After purchasing several Koolatron mini-fridges that all conked out in a couple of months, I purchased this one. It seems to keep the beverages much cooler than the other ones, but the secret is to let it rest. It says on the instructions you should unplug the unit after every 48 hours. To...
  2. portable electric cooler
Arrived when stated. Merchandise new in box. Have tried it on two trips already and found it to keep my medicines cold as required. Haven't tried the warming yet, but if as good as the cooler, should be ok. Used on both the 12v and the 120v, worked flawlessly.
refrigerator storage?

I'm moving and I'm taking my mini refrigerator with me, and I'm planning on laying it on its side for the ride home because that's the only way it will fit in my car. my friend told me if i do this it won't work right after because you're not...

It is not the best way to transport it. make sure you leave it in the proper upright position for a few hours after the trip before plugging it in. The freon and the oil in the compressor need to get back to the bottom .

Don't Make A Fast Break Out The Door Without Breakfast!

“Without question, breakfast is the meal that makes champions. Unfortunately, many active people follow a lifestyle that eliminates breakfast or includes foods that are far from champion-builders. I commonly counsel athletes who skip breakfast, grab only a light lunch, train on fumes, gorge at dinner and snack on ‘junk’ until bedtime. They not only rob their bodies of the nutrients needed for health, but also lack energy for high-quality workouts.” This quote comes courtesy of internationally-known sports nutritionist and best-selling author Nancy Clark, M.S., R.D., who has written several books including “Sports Nutrition Guidebook” (2008) and “Food Guide for Soccer: Tips & Recipes from the Pros” (2010).

Montclair State University student-athletes will also find that skipping breakfast or minimizing the importance of the meal affects both academic and sports performance.  And non-athletes such as faculty members and MSU office staffers can similarly see a drop in job performance as a result of missing breakfast or making poor breakfast choices. This week’s health and wellness article in the Montclarion comes on the heels of a recent headline in the September 30 Star Ledger that read, “Report:  N.J. Schools Are Skipping Breakfast.” Even more alarming was what followed under the headline in smaller print: “State ranks near bottom nationally in getting free- or reduced-price meals to kids.” Ouch. The article further mentions that New Jersey ranks 46th in the nation for participation in the National School Breakfast Program – indicating that only four other states are worse in terms of showing indifference on the importance of breakfast and/or not having the funds to participate in the National School Breakfast Program.

I heard that car refrigerators can consume more power. Anyone can give me some advice. In essence – that's exactly what happens is that they are on. The latest modern small and hold only a few bottles of water, and will come only when the vehicle is started, and is not used for anything long term storage cold. If you plan to run a small refrigerator or a battery then add additional size to handle your needs or to add another battery so if you have a problem of the rear second battery is available.

The Wagan 5-Amp AC to 12V DC Power Adapter allows you to use your 12-Volt DC powered items outside of your vehicle, including in your home, office, or dorm. It's ideal for GPS units, portable powered coolers/warmers, air compressors, and other DC appliances. This charger has a simple plug-in design that's easy to use, and is vented for your safety.

I have an auxiliary battery in the car and would like to install a solar panel on the roof of the car to charge the battery to effectively run our fridge / freezer . Any ideas? Thank you. I think I found an answer. That rather depends on the product you choose. These range from small coolers to about 30 watts to over 150 units watts consuming and beyond. Moreover, if also a freezer. When choosing the product just look at the specifications and it will tell you (on these types of units, it is mostly on the box.) Anyway, this is not so much power as required isolation and whether or it is not a front or top loader. And if the unit has a thermostat. Once chilled, the content (and, importantly, the air around them) will remain cold and given adequate insulation work (joules per second – W) will be made. If there is a thermostat, the unit will rest then. If there is a thermostat will continue to run as long as it is on and no power for it to draw on. Cold air is heavier than warm air, so a top-loader, will remain in the unit each time you open it. (Like water in a fish tank). But with a front loader will pour every time you open the door, warm air will replace the warm air and heat will require more work again to pump out heat. But basically, higher capacity drive, the greater the power required (watts) to run it.
