Good product, but ergonomics could be better.

Some useful notes about installing this...
I used this item in my 1998 Escort ZX2 with a factory 6 disc changer in the back. The installation of this product worked fairly well, however a few things are worth noting. Especially, if your Escort also has the 6 disc changer (which is rare). Disconnecting the temperature control cable....

my home a/c lines freeze over and the system quits blowing cold. once they defrost then the system works fine until it freezes up again. any possible suggestions that i can check myself before calling a a/c repairman?
clean your coils for it , check your filter . odds are you will need to replace it

As the nation prepares to turn back clocks, TRACKER is urging motorists to be extra security conscious. TRACKER’s figures show that stolen vehicle recoveries increase by 20% in the winter months and the company calls upon motorists to be extra vigilant.
Stuart Chapman, TRACKER’s Police Relationships manager, said: ‘Our figures confirm that the winter’s extra hours of darkness allow more time for thieves to break into vehicles unseen, with November, January and February being the worst months.
‘In 2010, 84 per cent of all the stolen cars recovered by TRACKER were taken using the owner’s keys and this danger increases during the winter.
