That kind of fridge periodically goes through a defrost cycle. The blower goes off, the compressor goes off, and a heater comes on in the freezer. This melts the frost off the evaporator coil and the resulting water runs down a drain that is located in the back of the freezer under the freezer covers.

Except that if the freezer has not been kept scrupulously clean, stuff can get under the covers and block that drain. In this case, the water backs up and freezes. Then it builds up. Eventually, the ice in the freezer under the cover has reached the point where, when the defrost cycle comes on, the water runs out into the refrigerator portion.
Mid sized Kelvinators and White-Westinghouse refrigerators are particularly susceptible to this problem, although I have seen it in other brands.
To solve the problem you have to take the covers off inside the freezer. Chip out the ice, and clean out the drain....

There are no 35" refrigerators that I am conscious of, and no 32" refrigerators that are side by side. Go to manufacturer's web sites for a more categorical answer, bit I'm willing to bet that a counter-depth refrigerator 35"x28"x70"

I bought this refrigerator/freezer in September of 2008, and by Sept/Oct of 2009 it was demolished. Something in the door behind the ice container starting making a horrific smashing sensible every ease we closed the door, until the pomp lights on the door died along with the ice and incredible making and dispensing abilities. I called LG and they sent a technician not to servicing the fridge but to put back some gaming-table in the fridge because of it's incompetent to be as drive-competent as advertised. Turns out that the fridge was only vigour-productive with the ice-maker turned off. LG came to an pact with the DOE to put back the boards and/or? to refund the fridge owners with a $21 payment/yr. I was advised by LG that I should touch one of their authorized vamp people who could servicing the fridge. As of today (Dec 27, 2009), my fridge door is still not habitual and the technician was powerless to name the facer. He tried replacing the...
