More Than I Expected

Mini Refrigerator With Freezer: My Freezer Has Ice Accumulation I ...
I have a refrigerator in my apartment that is has a freezer section on top, fridge on bottom. My freezer now gets ice on everything and it takes up a lot of the space. Its not like icicles more like ice from a slushy or something. Sort of like freezer burn.
How do I get rid of this ice and stop it from happening? Any theories or ideas?
My fridge is smaller than a normal fridge but definitely not a mini fridge . about 2 1/2 times as big as a mini fridge with a door that opens into the freezer section.
There are two mini fridges I’m considering at the moment and can’t decide between the two.

This one has two doors and well… looks better in my opinion, but that’s not really the point. Altogether, it has about 3.1 cubic feet of space, combining the space in the fridge and freezer. But the entire thing has one thermostat, just like the other fridge. So in reality, is it any different? If the tweo doors were replaced by one, wouldn’t the fridge itself be just like the other?
